Rusty Rodeo

Thank you to all those that attended Rusty Rodeo 2024 and helped remove rusty crayfish from the Fox River! Between the two locations, over 600 participants helped to improve the health of the river. We look forward to seeing you next year! 

At our Rusty Rodeo conservation event, participants catch rusty crayfish and help remove this invader from the river. Families are encouraged to join us in the water to collect, identify and remove this invasive species. Prizes are given to the participant who collects the most, the largest, and the smallest of these unwanted invaders.
